E-Blocks
Your Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) Solution

Styroforms E-Blocks System is a light weight polystyrene cement block which has been developed to compliment the construction industry. These innovative blocks are manufactured from Recycled Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) also known as Styrofoam or Styrotex, Cement and Proprietary Agents. Styroforms E-Blocks are
internationally used as it promotes the protection of the environment by reusing an other wise waste product, thus reducing our Carbon Footprint.

What Makes E-Blocks
A Smarter Choice For Construction?

  • E-Blocks are a stay-in-place Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) System that is structurally strong.
  • Insulated concrete forms are energy-efficient decreasing energy consumption by up to and above 50%.
  • Insulated concrete forms are sound absorbent
  • Insulated concrete forms are made from 85% recycled materials making them a sustainable product.
  • Reduces HVAC operating costs between 30%-60%
  • ICF structures are much more comfortable, quiet and energy-efficient than those built with traditional construction methods.

The Resilient Structural Design
Of Styroforms E-Blocks

Styroforms E-Blocks are designed with horizontal and vertical channels which become a structural skeleton when concrete is placed in accordance with the Manufactures specifications. The Load Bearing capabilities can be transferred to the Foundation via the vertical cores while the horizontal channels control the wall system from Lateral Forces.

Styroforms E-block can be installed using traditional mortar or an expanding foam adhesive, due to the high styrofoam content, the adhesive creates a bond between the blocks when stuck together and because of the nature of the system, keeping blocks plumb and aligned can be attained with minimal bracing. Styroforms E-Blocks design allows for Structural Concrete to be placed with a systematic methodology.

Versatile Installation Methods

Choose From Traditional Mortar
Or Faster EPS Adhesive

The E-Block (ISIPCF) is designed for versatility, allowing builders to use traditional cement or mortar for installation. However, thanks to the integration of expanding polystyrene (EPS) in its composition, the E-Block can also be installed using a specialized foam adhesive.

This adhesive is engineered for the construction industry, ensuring strong adhesion to various surfaces like wood, concrete, foam board, and ISIPCF blocks. The EPS component enhances the bond, making installation faster, stronger, and more efficient. By eliminating the need for mortar, this method streamlines the block-laying process, reducing mess and improving overall ease of use.
